University of Bristol Study Abroad

A study abroad opportunity in social justice

Sachs Scholars have the opportunity to study abroad through the Arts, Activism and Social Justice summer program at the University of Bristol. Scholars join local activists, community members, and international peers to explore racism and social justice, colonialism and independence, global feminisms, migration, environmental sustainability, and health and wellbeing through skill-building and creative sessions led by community leaders, academics, and artists.

BetterHelp

Mental health support

Through our partnership with BetterHelp, Sachs Scholars receive free one-on-one sessions with licensed mental health professionals throughout the school year, offering flexible support to navigate challenges, build healthy coping strategies, and care for their mental wellness while pursuing their degrees. Scholars also participate in BeWell, a virtual wellness series offered once each semester to connect with peers, explore mental health topics, and learn practical strategies for supporting their well-being.
